The unique formula contained in this kit can effectively dissolve cell membrane components, including cytoplasmic membrane, nuclear membrane and various organelle membranes. The protease inhibitor mixture contained in this kit prevents protein degradation by proteases and ensures the extraction of high-purity proteins.
The protein extracted by this kit can be used for pull-down, IP and other protein interaction studies, and can also be used for WB, protein electrophoresis, ELISA, transcription activity analysis, Gel shift gel retardation experiment, enzyme Activity assay and other downstream protein research experiments.
The protein extracted by this kit is an active protein with a natural protein conformation and has a wide range of downstream applications. The ability of the extract to lyse cells is relatively mild, and the lysis time needs to be optimized based on the actual sample conditions.
This kit does not contain EDTA and is compatible with downstream applications such as metal chelation and chromatography.
This kit is based on 50 mg cells/tissue per processed sample (approximately 50 μl cell precipitation volume). If a large number of cells/tissues need to be processed, add the extraction solution at 1:10 of the cell volume. The cells are ready to pellet. Each 50T kit can extract approximately 2.5 g of total protein from cell/tissue samples. Depending on the cell type, the total protein yield from 100 mg of cell pellet (107 cells) is approximately 6 mg.
