Chloroplasts are energy conversion organelles unique to plant cells. Photosynthesis is carried out in chloroplasts. Due to this important function, chloroplasts have always been an important research object in cell biology, genetics and molecular biology. The chloroplast protein extraction kit can quickly extract total chloroplast protein from various plant samples using a simple and rapid method. This kit is suitable for extracting chloroplast proteins from fresh plant samples. When used to extract frozen samples, most of the chloroplasts will be destroyed during the freezing process, so the recovery rate of chloroplast proteins is low. This kit contains a unique formula that effectively dissolves chloroplast membrane components. The protease inhibitor mixture contained in this kit prevents protein degradation by proteases and ensures the extraction of high-purity proteins. The protein extracted by this kit can be used for downstream protein research experiments such as Western Blotting, protein electrophoresis, immunoprecipitation, ELISA, transcription activity analysis, Gelshift gel retardation experiment, enzyme activity determination, etc. The proteins extracted by this kit are active proteins with natural protein conformation. This kit does not contain EDTA and is compatible with downstream applications such as metal chelation and chromatography.
