The initial seed germination, its catalytic D-galactose quickly converted and consumed through the glycolysis pathway, providing the initial source of energy for seed germination, and later participated in cell wall storagePolysaccharide hydrolysis.Measurement principle: α-Gal decomposition pair-nitrobenzene-α-D-pyranium galactoside to-nitrophenol, the latter has the maximum absorption peak at 400 nm, and elevated by measuring the absorption valueRate to calculate α-GAL activity.
