Brief introduction:Platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) is a kind of multi-potent cell growth factor, which can be divided into three physiologically active forms, AA/AB/BB, and can promote the growth of fibroblasts in skin and soft tissue injury, among which BB type can promote the growth of fibroblasts. It is an effective mitogen that can be used on a variety of cell types, including fibroblasts, smooth muscle, connective tissue, bone and cartilage cells, and some blood cells. PDGF is involved in a variety of biological processes, including proliferation, chemotaxis, embryonic neuronal development, and respiratory tubule epithelial cell development.
