Brief introduction:Granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF), also known as CSF-3 and MGI-1G, is a cytokine and hormone of the IL-6 superfamily. G-CSF is expressed by monocytes, macrophages, endothelial cells, fibroblasts and bone marrow stromal cells. Granulocyte colony stimulating factor stimulates the bone marrow to produce granulocyte and stem cells, especially the proliferation and differentiation of neutrophil lines.
