Mycoplasma hyorhinis is commonly found in a commensal form in the respiratory tract of pigs and rarely in the skin of humans Discover. Mycoplasma hyorhinis can promote and exacerbate the development of some diseases, such as porcine infectious pneumonia and porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome . In the absence of the involvement of other bacteria, Mycoplasma hyorhinis may in rare cases cause mycoplasmal arthritis, mycoplasmal polyserositis or mycoplasmal sepsis in young pigs. A variety of clinical signs can be seen in piglets less than 10 weeks old. Lameness, polyserositis and joint swelling are the most common symptoms. Secondary to otitis media, foul odor may occur. Less obvious symptoms include poor coat quality, Fever, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, neurological and respiratory symptoms, etc. Mycoplasma hyorhinis can contaminate cell culture through trypsin digestion.

 

In vitro culture, immunofluorescence antibody detection, complement fixation test and hemagglutination test, etc. All can be used to detect Mycoplasma hyorhinis. The use of PCR detection can achieve higher sensitivity, and the detection time is short, and the results can be obtained in just a few hours.

 

The Mycoplasma hyorhinis PCR detection kit selects a sequence of the 16S rRNA gene for PCR Identification, the primer was verified by BLAST to specifically target Mycoplasma hyorhinis and has no cross-reactivity with other biological genomes. This kit was used to detect 724 samples obtained from 270 pigs, and 79 positive samples were obtained. Only Mycoplasma hyorhinis produced specific amplification bands. It can be seen that this kit is species-specific and can be used for the identification and detection of Mycoplasma hyorhinis.

猪鼻支原体（Mycoplasma hyorhinis）通常在猪的呼吸道中以共生的形式存在，而在人类的皮肤中则很少发现。 猪鼻支原体会促进和加剧一些疾病的发展，如猪传染性肺炎和猪繁殖与呼吸综合征（PRRS）。 在没有其他细菌的参与时，猪鼻支原体少数情况下也可能引起幼猪的支原体性关节炎、支原体性多发性浆膜炎或支原体性败血症。在小于10周龄的仔猪中可见多种临床体征，跛行、多浆膜炎和关节肿胀是最常见的症状，继发于中耳炎，可能会出现恶臭，较不明显的症状包括被毛质量差、发热、心血管、胃肠道、神经和呼吸道症状等。猪鼻支原体可经由胰酶消化液对细胞培养造成污染。

体外培养、免疫荧光抗体检测、补体结合试验和血凝试验等均可用于检测猪鼻支原体。而使用PCR法检测，则可以得到更高的灵敏度，且检测时间短，仅需几个小时即可获得结果。

猪鼻支原体PCR检测试剂盒选取了16S rRNA基因的一段序列进行PCR鉴定，引物经BLAST验证为特异性靶向猪鼻支原体，与其他生物基因组无交叉反应。使用本试剂盒检测了从270头猪中取得的724个样品，得到79个阳性样品，仅有猪鼻支原体产生特异性扩增条带。可见本试剂盒具有物种特异性，可用于猪鼻支原体的鉴定和检测。
