The Gram-positive Bacteria Total Protein Extraction Kit can extract total protein from various Gram-positive bacteria. The kit is suitable for protein extraction from various Gram-positive bacteria and various firm-walled bacteria. It can also be used for the crude preparation of purified protein and the preparation of total protein. The extraction process is simple and convenient. This kit contains a protease inhibitor mixture and a phosphatase inhibitor mixture, which prevents protein degradation by proteases and ensures the extraction of high-quality proteins. The protein extracted by this kit can be used for downstream protein research experiments such as Western Blotting, protein electrophoresis, immunoprecipitation, ELISA, transcription activity analysis, Gelshift gel retardation experiment, enzyme activity determination, etc. The proteins extracted by this kit are active proteins with natural protein conformation and can be used in different downstream applications. Depending on different bacterial liquid samples and different culture conditions, approximately 2-10 mg of protein can be extracted from each milliliter of bacterial liquid. Protein quantification was performed using BCA or Lowry method. This kit does not contain EDTA and is compatible with downstream applications such as metal chelation and chromatography.
