Product Instruction：

Chrysophanol is one of the main components in the polygonaceae plant rhubarb, which belongs to hydroxyanthraquinone. Studies show that it has obvious anti-aging effect and anti-lipid peroxidation in rat liver and brain. The physical and chemical properties of chrysophanol are unstable, difficult to dissolve in water, and easy to decompose under light.

Chrysophanol has a characteristic absorption peak at 280 nm and can be determined by HPLC UV detector.

Instruments and reagents required in the test:

High Performance Liquid chromatography (Extend C18 column (4.6×250 mm), Uv detector (VWD), desktop centrifuge, adjustable pipetting gun, mortar/homogenizer, EPT, needle filter (water system, organic system), syringe, extraction filter, filter film (water system, organic system), Brown into S bottle, ultra pure water, acetonitrile (chromatographic pure).

Extract: Liquid 60 mL ×1 bottle, stored at 4℃.

Reagent 1: liquid 4 mL ×1 bottle, stored at 4℃.

Reagent 2: liquid 5 mL ×1 bottle, stored at 4℃.

Standard: powder ×1 bottle, stored at 4℃. Before use, add 4 mL of reagent II to prepare 0.5 mg/mL emodin methyl ether standard solution, and keep it sealed at 4℃ to avoid direct sunlight.
