Animal membrane proteins undertake various biological functions and play an important role in the development of life. The Insect Cell Plasma Membrane Protein Extraction Kit is a high-yield membrane protein extraction kit based on chemical rather than detergent methods. This kit provides a complete set of reagents suitable for gentle and efficient extraction of plasma membrane proteins from insect tissues or cultured cells. The proteins extracted and enriched using this kit include proteins with very small to very large molecular weights, proteins that span the membrane from a single time to more than 7 times, and even some large protein complexes. The extraction process is simple and convenient and can be completed within 1 hour. The extracted membrane proteins not only have high purity and maintain natural activity, but also have minimal cross-contamination. The protein extracted by this kit can be used for downstream protein research experiments such as Western Blotting, protein electrophoresis, immunoprecipitation, ELISA, transcription activity analysis, Gelshift gel retardation experiment, enzyme activity determination, etc. The proteins extracted by this kit are active proteins with natural protein conformation. This kit does not contain EDTA and is compatible with downstream applications such as metal chelation and chromatography.
