Product Detail The membrane bound adenylyl cyclases (ACs) represent one of the major families of effector enzymes for G protein coupled receptors. Eight human AC isoforms (AC-1 through AC-4) have been identified up to now and genes for at least nine adenylate cyclase (AC-1-AC-9) have been cloned characterized and sequenced. This is a calmodulin-sensitive adenylyl cyclase which may be involved in regulatory processes in the central nervous system. It may play a role in neuronal plasticity, memory acquisition and learning and is expressed predominantly in the brain, retina and adrenal medulla.

腺苷酸环化酶(adenylate cyclase, AC) 是G protein-coupled receptor家族之一,是膜整合蛋白,它的氨基端和羧基端都朝向细胞质。AC在膜的细胞质面有两个催化结构域,还有两个膜整合区,每个膜整合区分别有6个跨膜的α螺旋。哺乳动物中已发现6个腺苷酸环化酶异构体。由于AC能够将ATP转变成cAMP,引起细胞的信号应答,因此,腺苷酸环化酶是G蛋白偶联系统中的效应物。

Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded (rat adrenal gland); Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with (Adenylate cyclase 1) Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (SL3681R) at 1:200 overnight at 4°C, followed by operating according to SP Kit(Rabbit) (sp-0023) instructionsand DAB staining.
