Subunit: Isoform 1 and isoform 2 interact with PICALM; this interaction may target PICALM to the nucleus (PubMed:16491119). During mitosis, associates with HDAC2 and MTA2 subunits of the chromatin-remodeling NuRD complex; this association is strongest at prometaphase and decreases as the cell progresses through metaphase and anaphase (PubMed:18757745).
