When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.
Product Detail background:
The protein encoded by this gene is a type II membrane protein that catalyzes the transfer of sialic acid from CMP sialic acid to galactose-containing substrates. The encoded protein, which is normally found in the Golgi apparatus but which can be proteolytically processed to a soluble form, is involved in the generation of the cell surface carbohydrate determinants and differentiation antigens HB6, CDw75, and CD76. This protein is a member of glycosyltransferase family 29. Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Function:
Transfers sialic acid from the donor of substrate CMP-sialic acid to galactose containing acceptor substrates.

Subcellular Location:
Golgi apparatus, Golgi stack membrane; Single-pass type II membrane protein. Secreted. Note=Membrane-bound form in trans cisternae of Golgi. Secreted into the body fluid.

Post-translational modifications:
The soluble form derives from the membrane form by proteolytic processing.
The HB-6, CDW75, and CD76 differentiation antigens are cell-surface carbohydrate determinants generated by this enzyme.

Similarity:
Belongs to the glycosyltransferase 29 family.

Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded (Human kidney); Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Incubation: Anti-CD75 Antibody, conjugated (SL3793R-AF647) 1:400, 1.5 hours at 37°C; DAPI (5ug/ml, blue, C-0033) was used to stain the cell nuclei.

Protocol
The cells were fixed with 4% PFA (10min at room temperature)and then permeabilized with PBST for 20 min at room temperature. The cells then were incubated in 5%BSA to block non-specific protein-protein interactions for 30 min at room temperature .Cells stained with Primary Antibody for 30 min at room temperature. Acquisition of 20,000 events was performed.
