Chlamydia gallinae belongs to the family Chlamydiaceae and is an obligate intracellular parasitic prokaryote. It was officially recognized as a new species in 2014. Chlamydia gallinae is transmitted through the fecal-oral route, and its host is mainly poultry. It has been isolated from chickens, ducks, guinea fowl, and turkeys, and has also been reported to be isolated from cattle. Its distribution range is all over the world, in Europe, North and South America, It has been reported in Australia and China. Poultry are usually asymptomatic after infection, but slow growth and weight loss occur. It has also been reported to cause death of chicken embryos. It is uncertain whether it can cause pneumonia in humans.

 

The detection of chicken chlamydia generally uses the PCR method. PCR is a method of enzymatically synthesizing specific DNA fragments in vitro. It is more sensitive than other methods and has strong specificity. It can determine the type of bacterial infection. The detection speed is fast and can be completed in only two or three hours. Compared with ordinary PCR method, quantitative PCR method can not only accurately quantify, but also be more convenient and more convenient to operate.Less affected by environmental pollution.

 

This kit designs primers and probes based on the 16S rRNA gene sequence of Chlamydia chicken. It can specifically identify Chlamydia gallinae and has been verified by BLAST to have no cross-reactivity with other biological genomes. This kit detected 5 other species of chlamydia, 19 species of bacteria and 3 species of fungi, and no non-specific signals were found. 110 chicken samples that were positive for chlamydia were tested and 95 positive for chlamydia and 2 for chlamydia psittaci is positive, showing that the infection rate of Chlamydia gallinae is higher than that of Chlamydia psittaci. This kit is suitable for the detection and identification of chicken chlamydia.

鸡衣原体(Chlamydia gallinacea)属于衣原体科(Chlamydiaceae),是一种专性细胞内寄生的原核生物,于2014年正式确定为新物种。鸡衣原体通过粪口途径传播,宿主主要为家禽,目前已在鸡、鸭、珠鸡、火鸡中分离出来,也有在牛中分离出来的报道;其分布范围遍及全球,在欧洲、南北美洲、澳大利亚和中国均有报道。家禽感染后通常没有症状,但出现生长缓慢和体重下降,也有报道其引起鸡胚死亡,尚不确定是否会引起人类肺炎。

对鸡衣原体的检测一般采用PCR法。PCR是一种体外酶促合成特异性DNA 片段的方法,灵敏度高于其他方法,特异性强,可以确定感染的细菌种类,检测速度快,只需两三个小时即可完成。定量PCR法与普通PCR法相比,不仅可以精确定量,而且操作更为方便,更少受环境污染的影响。

本试剂盒针对鸡衣原体16S rRNA基因序列设计引物和探针,可以特异性识别鸡衣原体,经BLAST验证,与其他生物基因组没有交叉反应。本试剂盒检测了5种其他衣原体、19种细菌和3种真菌,未发现非特异性信号;对衣原体阳性的110个鸡样本进行检测,获得95个鸡衣原体阳性和2个鹦鹉热衣原体(Chlamydia psittaci)阳性,可见鸡衣原体感染率高于鹦鹉热衣原体。本试剂盒适用于鸡衣原体的检测和鉴定。
