The Cell Membrane Protein Extraction Kit provides a complete set of reagents, suitable for extracting membrane proteins from various primary or passaged cell samples. The extracted membrane proteins are of high purity and do not contain nuclear proteins and cytoplasmic proteins. The extraction process is simple and convenient. The prepared membrane proteins maintain native activity and have minimal cross-contamination. The protein extracted by this kit can be used for downstream protein research experiments such as Western Blotting, protein electrophoresis, immunoprecipitation, ELISA, transcription activity analysis, Gelshift gel retardation experiment, enzyme activity determination, etc. The proteins extracted by this kit are active proteins with natural protein conformation. This kit does not contain EDTA and is compatible with downstream applications such as metal chelation and chromatography. The protein samples extracted by this kit contain high concentrations of salt components and cannot be used directly for 2D electrophoresis. They need to be desalted before use in 2D electrophoresis. If downstream experiments need to be directly used for isoelectric focusing or two-dimensional electrophoresis, please use kits with other product numbers. The membrane proteins extracted by this kit are the total membrane proteins of cells. Separate extraction of organelle membrane proteins is required. Please use kits with other product numbers.
