Vitamin A is afat-soluble vitamin necessary for growth, reproduction,differentiation of epithelial tissues, and vision. RBP2 may alsomodulate the supply of retinoic acid to the nuclei of endometrialcells during the menstrual cycle. Function: Intracellular transport of retinol. Subcellular Location: Cytoplasm.
