Mycoplasma mycoides is a group of infectious mycoplasmas, including six members: Mmc, MmmLC, MmmSC, Mcc, Mccp and Mycoplasma leachii . These members cause a variety of diseases in ruminants ranging from mild to severe and fatal.


Mycoplasma Leachii
was originally bred from cattle in 1963 Isolated from synovial fluid, it can cause arthritis, mastitis and calf pneumonia. It is a facultative anaerobic bacterium. It grows rapidly and can cause turbidity in liquid culture media or the formation of large omelette-shaped colonies on solid culture media. Sometimes the diameter of the colony can reach 2 mm. It can metabolize glucose but cannot utilize arginine and urea. It can be distinguished from other members of the Mycoplasma mycoides family in that it can metabolize trehalose but cannot metabolize mannose and glucosamine. According to the results of DNA hybridization experiments and protein sequence analysis, its genome is 85% homologous to MmmSC, and is located in the middle of Mycoplasma mycoides and Mycoplasma capricolum in terms of classification. It is similar to both in terms of metabolic pathways, antigenic properties and related diseases. the difference. During serological analysis, Mycoplasma Leachii often cross-reacts with other members of the Mycoplasma mycoides family, causing great interference in the diagnosis of infectious pleuropneumonia in cattle and sheep.


Mycoplasma Leachii
can be cultured in vitro and serum Scientific methods are used for identification, but culture methods are more time-consuming and serological methods have more cross-reactions. The PCR method is used for identification, which has extremely high sensitivity and specificity, and the detection time is short, and the results can be obtained in just a few hours. Compared with the ordinary PCR method, the quantitative PCR method can not only accurately quantify, but also be more convenient to operate and less affected by environmental pollution.


This kit selects a membrane lipoprotein gene with a conserved sequence as the target. Specific recognitionMycoplasma Leachii, verified by BLAST, has no cross-reactivity with other biological genomes. 丝状支原体族(Mycoplasma Mycoides cluster)是一组具有传染性的支原体,包括六个成员: Mmc(Mycoplasma mycoides subsp. Capri)、MmmLC (Mycoplasma mycoides subsp. mycoides Large Colony,现已被重新归类至Mmc) 、MmmSC (Mycoplasma mycoides subsp. mycoides Small Colony)、Mcc (Mycoplasma capricolum subsp. capricolum)、Mccp(Mycoplasma capricolum subsp. capripneumoniae)和Mycoplasma leachii (即Mycoplasma sp. bovine group 7, Mbg7)。这些成员在反刍动物中引起从较温和到严重致死的多种疾病。

Mycoplasma Leachii可以用体外培养法和血清学方法进行鉴定,但培养法较为耗时,血清学方法交叉反应较多。使用PCR法进行鉴定,具有极高的灵敏度和特异性,且检测时间短,只需数小时即可获得结果。定量PCR法与普通PCR法相比,不仅可以精确定量,而且操作更为方便,更少受环境污染的影响。

本试剂盒选取一个序列保守的膜脂蛋白基因作为靶点,特异性识别Mycoplasma Leachii,经BLAST验证,与其他生物基因组没有交叉反应。本试剂盒检测了丝状支原体族的各成员共68个菌株,以及分布范围相似的7种其他支原体和21种细菌,仅有7个Mycoplasma Lachii菌株产生特异信号。
