Many mycoplasmas are harmful to animals, humans, and plants Pathogenic, therefore they are of great importance in medicine and phytopathology. Mycoplasmas tend to be host-specific, and ruminants, especially cattle, harbor many specific parasitic mycoplasmas. Mycoplasma bovigenitalium, also known as Mycoplasma bovigenitalium, is considered to be related to bovine reproductive system diseases and can cause bovine genital tract inflammation, epididymitis and infertility, ranging from mastitis to mastitis. Mycoplasma bovine genitalium can also be isolated from sick cattle with pneumonia, conjunctivitis and arthritis.


Microbiological culture methods and immunological techniques are usually used for the detection of Mycoplasma in the bovine genital tract and identification. However, the former technique is very time-consuming and the latter technique is not sensitive enough in some cases. Mycoplasma bovis is highly similar to Mycoplasma bovis in biochemical characteristics and culture methods. Although they can be distinguished by some serological techniques, cross-reactivity also exists. Using PCR technology to amplify the 16S rRNA gene in vitro can be used to identify and detect Mycoplasma in the bovine genital tract, with the advantages of high sensitivity and short detection time.


The bovine genital tract Mycoplasma PCR detection kit is species-specific. The primers used in the kit have been verified by BLAST to specifically target Mycoplasma bovine genital tract and do not cross-react with the genomes of other organisms. This kit was used to detect 25 species of mycoplasma, including 16 species of bovine parasitic Mycoplasma and 6 species of ovine parasitic Mycoplasma. Only Mycoplasma bovine genital tract can produce amplified bands. For the four types of human mycoplasmas that often cause cell contamination, this kit has no cross-reactivity, so it can avoid potential contamination from manual operations.


Isolation from calf nasal swabs or cow udder milk samples collected from farms The 95 mycoplasma-like colonies that came out were identified simultaneously using this kit and conventional identification techniques, and the test results were completely consistent. It can be seen that this kit can be used to identify and detect bovine genital tract mycoplasma.

对从农场收集的小牛鼻拭子或奶牛乳房乳样品中分离出来的95个支原体样菌落,使用本试剂盒和常规鉴定技术同步进行鉴定,检测结果完全一致,可见本试剂盒可以用于鉴别和检测牛生殖道支原体。
